This WINTER artwork aims at highlighting the melting of our polar regions. The Arctic region, especially, is being affected the most and a direct consequence of it, sees increasing habitat loss for wildlife species such as Polar Bears.

Any art we sell, will help planting trees across the world via our JUST ONE tree project.
This WINTER print depicts a wintery landscape which represents the cold regions on Earth, and especially the Arctic & Antarctica polar areas.
Global warming makes the climate of these parts of the world hotter which threatens some of the wildlife such as Polar Bears.

We lose Arctic sea ice at a rate of almost 13% per decade, and over the past 30 years, the oldest and thickest ice in the Arctic has declined by a stunning 95%.
If emissions continue to rise unchecked, the Arctic could be ice-free in the summer by 2040. (Source)

“This representation of this wintery landscape aims at translating how much cold regions are radically changing, temperatures are higher, snow falls are sparser and all the ecosystem has to adapt but for some, it means finding it hard to survive. We all need to make efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and thus global warming of the planet”
